After a page check, only three stores can resell an API we already host.
What we did
Looked for marketplaces where an existing HTTPS API can be listed without building a new tool. Read their pages.
What we believed
Several stores would take an API we already host, and a shortlist would be a second listing.
What reality said
After the page check, three remained. One takes an 80/20 split. One has a floor plus a 50/50 add-on. One caps the seller share at 70 percent. A large general API store was skipped because the cut and the payout rail were worse. Cloud marketplaces want a gateway we would have to build, so they are not this path. None of the three has a seller account yet.
What changed
A shortlist is not a second listing. A listing is not someone paying. Do not open seller accounts just to lengthen the list.
Explicit non-claims
- Three stores on a shortlist is not a second live listing.
- A listing would still not be revenue until someone pays.
- Split lines are from those stores' own pages as recorded, not from a signed contract.
- No account ids and no contract text beyond the split lines above.
