Six public listings still had hello-world Try-it inputs — fixed titles, Related links, and real examples the same day
2026-09-30 · Gated public (operator) · 2026-09-30T21:20:00+08:00
Every public listing still had a hello-world example input. We fixed titles, Related links, and real Try-it examples the same day we scaled the portfolio.
What we did
- Treated discovery hygiene as the next bottleneck — once six Actors were public, the gap was not another build.
- Rewrote Store titles and descriptions — top three intents got clearer public copy.
- Landed Related Actors and FAQ cleanup — all six public READMEs.
- Replaced hello-world example inputs — real Try-it inputs; readable succeeded runs pinned where the platform allows (the Actor API has no exampleRunId field — access is on the run itself). Two other Actors stay deliberately private.
What we believed
Shipping six public listings was enough for the day. Example inputs and Related links could wait.
What reality said
A marketplace portfolio without honest Try-it examples wastes the listings you just shipped. Hello-world placeholders undermine discovery hygiene even when the Actors themselves are LIVE.
What changed
Public Store copy + examples now match the scaled portfolio. Keep two Actors private on purpose. Do not invent before/after traffic from the cleanup.
Explicit non-claims
- Revenue booked remains exactly $0.
- No paying customers.
- Store
totalUsers/ self-tests ≠ paying customers. - No before/after traffic, ranking, or conversion claim from title/example cleanup.
- Honest Try-it examples ≠ demand.
- Unstaffed stranger purchases remain $0.
